I just now heard that there are some scenes in the next episode of GG that have Derena (Serena and Dan) together. I loveee Derena as a couple because in the first season, Serena was a completley different person with Dan at her side. Now that the flame is over, Serena is back to her old self, and throughout all the seasons where Dan was not her boyfriends, Serena probably dated four guys per season. In Season One, Dan was always there for her and Serena only dated him, nobody else but Dan. To me, Dan and Blair are not endgame, but thats my opinion. Dan is insecure about going to Rome for the summer and leaving Blair alone with Chuck so he decides to lie to Blair and tells her that the people in the Literacy group in Rome found somebody else so he can't go!! That just shows me Dan can't trust Blair. In Season Two, Dan was thinking only about Serena and he could not write a story until he knew that he made the right decision in the end of Season One by breaking up with her. Awwww. A guy that wants to be with someone longer and will forgive anything means that he's the right guy. I mean, look at Chuck. He was willing to forgive Blair in Season Three when she made him kiss a guy for her own speech. And in Season Three again, Blair forgives Chuck in the finale when he set her up with Jack for the Empire, but their chance to rekindle their relationship fails when Chuck makes the worst decision he could make by sleeping with Jenny Humphry. Anyways, Derena is the perfect couple and I do hope that they could start a fresh page in their relationship, hopefully beginning in Season Five.
