Why Jenny is not the best character

(Spoilers ahead!!!) Throughout season one, Jenny Humphrey started off as wanting to become apart of Blair's group and admiring her style like idolizing her as her role model but then it started to grow on her. Jenny began wearing clothes similar to Blair and acting in the same manner, She started taking over B's minions and having them worship her, and started treating Blair like a public enemy because Blair tried to set her straight. In many episodes, Jenny's storyline is basically just her rebelling and then crying towards the end to Rufus Humphrey because she doesn't want to accept her consequences to her actions. Dan also noticed that she started to change her ways and even lying to her own family, In the birthday episode, Jenny stole the Valentino dress and tried to sell and then get it back after almost getting caught by her minion (FYI she gets caught), her next move was to cry after not being able to take it off and then showing up to butter with Nate before Blair comes back to sit down at the table. In the 16th episode, after nearly having a meltdown after Eric and Blair showed up to the party, She decides that she can just run back home to Rufus like he can solve every issue while he's trying to parent her and actually knock some sense into her. As the show goes on, Her style starts to grow darker and with duller colors rather than her bright and vintage inspired outfits she wore in the previous seasons. Many fans have noted Jenny as one of the worst storylines to be written in the show, Overall Jenny Humphrey is not the best character but she did bring what she had left to the table.
