Gossip Girl: 2021 series[]
Season One[]
Rebecca, having grown to be a teacher at the now-merged Constance Billard St. Jude's School, overhears the bemoaning of her fellow colleagues Kate Keller, Jordan Glassberg, and Rima regarding the disrespectful attitudes and behavior of the present-day students. Upon the mention of Nate Archibald being noted as a great person produced by the school and described as a saint, she blurts out he wasn't one back then. She agrees on the sentiment on how the students believe they don't care about school when they can be famous for putting on makeup. She tells them that, once upon a time, students like her lived in constant fear of an entity known only as Gossip Girl, who kept tabs on everyone, knew their secrets and kept all accountable. She mentions how people thought it was her, but it was one of her classmates, Dan Humphrey, now a famous novelist to his fan Kate's shock. Intrigued by the infamous saga, Kate and the teachers dig deeper into the now-defunct blog about the scandalous lives the students led back then. Inadvertently, Rebecca inspires Kate and three of her friends to restart Gossip Girl as an Instagram account and continue her iconic reign of social terror into new heights.
