Hanover Academy is the boarding school in Connecticut attended by Serena van der Woodsen prior to the start of the Gossip Girl novel series.

Sprague Hanover is located somewhere in the state of Connecticut, quite possibly in the village of outside. After departing the Constance Billard School for Girls in Manhattan, Serena van der Woodsen was enrolled at the Hanover boarding school and was driven there by her older brother, Eric van der Woodsen.
In the first book, Serena returns to the Upper East Side after a year at Hanover.
