Asher Hornsby is a minor character from the first season of Gossip Girl. Much to the horror of Jenny's brother Dan Humphrey, Asher is the first proper boyfriend of Jenny Humphrey.
It is revealed that Asher is gay, and when Jenny confronts him and asks him about it, he admits he is and that he's only pretending to be with her so nobody finds out. He tells her there's no other reason somebody like him would go out with a girl from Brooklyn.
Jenny lies and tells everyone she has slept with Asher, but her plan backfires when Eric admits that the pair kissed and that they were together all along proving Dan right.
