Originally formed by Blair Waldorf during her reign as Queen of Constance, the 5 Families is a secret society made up of the Monarchs of the 5 most powerful private schools in Manhattan, New York. The 5 Families council includes Constance, Nightingale, Brearley, Chapin and Spence
first heard of in the season 6 episode 7, “save the last chancel” where Blair has a Constance uniform inspired pop-up fashion show/sample sale.
During each Queens reign they are allowed to ask one favor from the council.
